The Dethleffs Globebus Performance 4x4, based on the VW Crafter 4Motion chassis, is a robust and stylish off-road campervan that promises an unforgettable adventure.

At its heart, the cockpit of the Globebus Performance 4x4 has been updated from the Crafter series, incorporating elements from the 2024 facelift. Notable additions include a 12.9-inch infotainment system, capable of utilising the AI-powered chatbot, ChatGPT.

The interior of the campervan is designed for two persons, but can comfortably accommodate up to four with additional options. The sleeping arrangements are versatile, offering single beds, a fold-out bed, and the option to convert the seating group for an additional sleeping place.

The kitchen area comes equipped with a standard two-burner gas cooker and an 83-liter refrigerator, which can be upgraded to 131 liters for those who require more storage space. The wet bathroom features a "Clesana C1" dry toilet and a Grünbeck water filter, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.

The Globebus Performance 4x4 boasts an air-suspended rear axle for improved ride comfort, and its suspension system has been specifically designed to be different from the Hannover transporter, with a raised body and a reinforced front axle.

The campervan is powered by a single engine option: a 2.0L turbo diesel with 163 PS (120 kW). It weighs 3050 kg ready to drive, with the "First Edition" package adding 172.2 kg, making the gross vehicle weight rating 3880 kg. With the upcoming EU driver's license reform, a driver with a Class B license can operate the Globebus Performance 4x4, as the weight limit increases from 3.5 to 4.25 tons.

The "First Edition" package includes a canopy, roof railing, and rear ladder, all finished in matte black. The fresh water tank can store up to 115 liters, while the waste water tank holds a maximum of 90 liters (with insulation available at an additional cost).

The company behind this innovative campervan is Dethleffs, led by Stefan. With the Globebus Performance 4x4, Dethleffs continues to push the boundaries of off-road campervan design, offering a vehicle that combines style, comfort, and functionality for the modern adventurer.
