A summer festivity of charity organization Maria Schutz for children and teens brimming with optimism and communal spirit
On September 13, 2025, from 13:00 to 18:00, the Kinderschutzverein Maria Schutz e.V. is hosting a Summer Festival at the Kinderschutzheimgarten Maria Schutz in Overath (Bridge 33, 51491 Overath).
This event promises to be more than just a summer festival, as it aims to create a feeling of home and belonging for young people. Visitors will have the opportunity to gain insights into the pedagogical work, talk to employees, and learn about the support given to children, young people, and families.
The festival will feature a variety of activities. Music will be provided by PLANSCHEMALÖÖR, and interactive activities, game offerings, and culinary stands will keep both children and adults entertained. Speed dating events will take place at 14:30, 15:30, and 16:30 for those interested in starting a career, offering opportunities to learn about entry opportunities, the house, and career prospects.
Tours of the facility will also be available at 13:00, 14:30, and 16:00, providing a chance for visitors to explore the facilities firsthand. Neighbors, families, children, young people, friends, and supporters are invited to come together and set a common sign at the festival.
The entire proceeds of the festival will directly support the facility and the approximately 100 children, young people, and young adults who are accompanied daily.
