The fire, which started around 6:55 AM, saw the engine compartment of a construction company's van, belonging to Strabag, engulfed in flames. The fire department swiftly responded and successfully extinguished the blaze near Heimfeld and Hausbruch.

The fire incident, coupled with another accident in the Stellingen area, has contributed to the ongoing traffic issues in southern Hamburg.
