In a unique collaboration, Grammy-nominated musician Jon Hopkins was invited to create new music for the Intimate and Expansive presets of Abbey Road Studios Mode, a groundbreaking in-car sound system available exclusively in the Polestar 3.
Jon Hopkins, who has worked with many influential artists in the industry, found the experience of composing in one of the most famous rooms in music, Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios, to be a unique and surreal experience. For the Expansive preset, he adopted a more improvisatory approach, aiming to capture the sound of the legendary studio.
In contrast, for the Intimate preset, Hopkins created a subtle, contemplative piece that evokes the quiet and private feeling of being in one of the studio's control rooms. These new tracks, along with the music of rising jazz star corto.alto, who was also invited to reimagine his most impactful tracks in Abbey Road Studio Two, add a touch of musical magic to the Polestar 3's audio experience.
The Polestar 3, a vehicle with a focus on speed and performance, now offers an audio experience to match its dynamic capabilities. The collaboration with corto.alto was arranged to showcase the unique sonic characteristics of Abbey Road Studios Mode in Polestar 3.
Meanwhile, professional cyclist Demi Vollering is featured in a Polestar portrait, while iconic athlete and style-conscious advocate Kevin Love invites readers into his world and distinctive approach to life. Performance, well-being, and creativity are in balance in Kevin Love's life, much like the balance between speed and sound in the Polestar 3.
Abbey Road Studios Mode aims to elevate the in-car listening experience by replicating the sounds of the famous studio through four unique presets - Intimate, Expansive, Open, and Energised. In addition to the producer mode that allows users to have more control over their audio experience with tailored sound settings for granular customisation, the mode is available exclusively with the Bowers & Wilkins audio system in Polestar 3.
