Accenture Interactive announces new CEO and Creative Chair, David Droga, taking over from Brian Whipple.

Accenture Interactive, a leading global consultancy, is set for a change in leadership as David Droga takes on the roles of both CEO and creative chairman, effective from September 1.

Droga, who previously sold his agency Droga5 to Accenture in April 2019, will now lead the global consultancy, taking over from Brian Whipple who has been at the helm of Accenture Interactive's creative division for the past decade.

Whipple played a foundational role in building Accenture Interactive, and his departure marks the end of an era. In a statement, Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture, expressed gratitude to Whipple for his contributions to the company.

As part of his new role, Droga will be responsible for driving creative excellence, customer experience, and business innovation within Accenture Interactive. The brand campaign for Accenture, launched by Droga5, is massive, with a media spend of $90 Million.

The campaign, which has been a success, underscores Droga's ability to create impactful and innovative work. In his new position, he will aim to continue this success and drive further growth for Accenture Interactive.

As creative chairman, Droga will also oversee the creative direction of the company, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the industry. This dual role is a testament to Droga's creative prowess and strategic vision.

With this change in leadership, Accenture Interactive is poised to continue its growth and innovation in the digital marketing and advertising space. The company's clients can expect to benefit from Droga's creative vision and strategic leadership.

As Whipple steps down from his role, he leaves behind a legacy of success and growth at Accenture Interactive. His departure marks the beginning of a new chapter for the company, with Droga at the helm. The future looks bright for Accenture Interactive under Droga's leadership.
