On Saturday, August 30, 2025, a traffic accident occurred at the Unsernherrn crossing in Ingolstadt, Germany. The collision involved two passenger cars, specifically a Volkswagen Golf and a Fiat Panda.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 PM, with the Volkswagen Golf traveling along Klein-Salvator Street from Ringsee towards Munich Street. At the same time, the Fiat Panda was coming from Auburger Street towards Munich Street.

The 20-year-old driver of the VW Golf attempted to turn around in the intersection with Munich Street, which led to the collision with the Fiat Panda. The Fiat Panda, driven by a 71-year-old Ingolstadt resident, was crossing the intersection, having the right of way.

As a result of the accident, the Fiat Panda overturned, causing significant damage, estimated to be around 20,000 euros. The 71-year-old driver was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The nature of the injuries sustained by the person in the Volkswagen Golf is not specified.

Traffic Police Ingolstadt was on the scene to investigate the accident. The exact cause of the collision is still under investigation. It is important to note that this accident did not involve any heavy vehicles or pedestrians.
