Ulm Police Stop Driver with High Alcohol Level

A 60-year-old man has been charged after being stopped by the police in Ulm, Germany. According to the Police Headquarters Ulm, as reported by news aktuell, the incident occurred on the main street of the city around 10 PM.

The man was driving a Renault, which was stopped on Bamberger Strasse during a routine check. Officers detected alcohol on the driver, and a breathalyzer test was conducted on the spot. The test results showed that the man had consumed too much alcohol, with a blood alcohol level of 0.60 per mille.

A second breathalyzer test was carried out at the police station, and the man was found to still be over the legal limit. As a result, he was prohibited from continuing to drive and had to leave his car. The man was allowed to keep his driver's license but is now facing a charge.
