Accident in Ahlen: Blood sample acquired following automobile collision
On August 7, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on Straße Am Roetingershof in Ahlen, Warendorf. The incident involved an intoxicated individual using an electric wheelchair, who crossed the road and collided with a car driven by a 26-year-old Ahlen resident.
Despite braking and swerving, the car driver could not prevent the accident. As a result, the wheelchair user sustained slight injuries and was taken to a hospital by emergency services for medical treatment and a blood sample.
The traffic accident caused approximately 3,800 euros in property damage to the car involved, which was driven towards Hammer Straße. During the traffic accident investigation, police officers found that the wheelchair user was intoxicated.
Regrettably, the name of the drunken driver in the electric wheelchair has not been disclosed at this time.
