Accident leaves passenger with minor injuries, reported by Polish authorities
On August 27, a traffic accident occurred in Siegburg, Germany, that has raised concerns due to the involvement of a pregnant woman.
According to the Rhein-Sieg District Police Headquarters, the incident took place on Braschosser Straße in the Schreck district. The accident involved a VW and a Peugeot.
The 70-year-old driver of the VW, who intended to turn left onto Zeithstraße, apparently ignored the right of way of the 28-year-old Peugeot driver. As a result, the Peugeot collided with the VW.
The pregnant passenger of the Peugeot driver was taken to the hospital for further examination and treatment, while the drivers of both vehicles remained uninjured. However, the collision slightly injured the 43-year-old passenger of the Peugeot driver.
The traffic accident investigation is being conducted by the police inspection Rosenheim under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office Rosenheim. The 70-year-old driver will have to answer to a traffic accident report for reckless bodily injury.
The damage to the vehicles was estimated to be in the mid-four-figure Euro range.
