Accident on a curve: Polish motorist suffers injuries
On August 27, 2025, at approximately 6:25 PM, a motorcyclist from Dortmund, aged 23, was involved in an accident on Nierenhofer Straße in the direction of Velbert, Ennepe-Ruhr District.
The motorcycle involved in the incident was a BMW, and the accident occurred at the Ennepe-Ruhr District Police Headquarters. The motorcyclist lost control in a left curve and collided with the guardrail after skidding.
Following the accident, the motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has been reported as minor.
The Kreispolizeibehörde Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis (District Police Authority Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis) conducted an investigation into the collision. The damage to the motorcycle involved in the accident is in the low four-figure range.
