At the Bomag headquarters in Boppard, a captivating event was held, showcasing the company's innovative solutions in soil recycling. The focus of the event was on the use of Bomag's machines in conjunction with the product Claycrete II.
Lutz Stallgies, Business Development Manager Recycling at Bomag, emphasized the event's significance, stating that Bomag's solutions demonstrate that soil recycling is both economically and ecologically sensible. He further added that Bomag supports customers in safely and effectively integrating both proven and new methods into their projects.
The demonstration was a live display of the process, conducted on a specially prepared site. It included various machines such as a BOMAG RS 460, a rubber-tired roller (BW 28 RH), a roller train with a smooth bandage (BW 219 BVC-5), and a roller train with a tamper bandage (BW 211 DH-5).
Machines that can precisely meter liquids into the ground are essential for a good result in soil stabilization, according to the organisers. During the demonstration, these machines were used to create a uniform soil structure with high load-bearing capacity, as stated by Bomag themselves.
The event concluded with a tour of the Bomag factory, offering attendees a unique insight into the manufacturing process of these innovative machines.
