Adjustments are being made to bus services 40, 91, and 97 that travel across the country.
The Hallesche Verkehrs-AG (HAVAG), a company of the Stadtwerke Halle group, has announced temporary restrictions on bus lines 40, 91, and 97 from September 5th to 8th, 2025, and September 12th to 15th, 2025. These changes are due to the closures of the eastern and western bridges at the Rennbahnkreuz.
During these periods, from 6 PM to 5 AM, bus line 40 will run shortened and terminate at the additional stop Hyazinthenstraße in Andalusierstraße. The stops Rennbahnring (Stop B) and Rennbahnkreuz (Stop E) will not be served on bus line 40. However, a replacement stop will be provided for the Rennbahnring (Stop B) at the paved area opposite the bus loop at house number 36.
For lines 91 and 97, the Rennbahnkreuz, Saline, and Ankerstraße stops will not be served during the closure of the eastern bridge from September 12th to 15th. In particular, line 91, in the direction of Am Steintor, will not serve the Ankerstraße (Stop A) and the Rennbahnkreuz (Stop F), while line 97, in the direction of Ammendorf, will not serve the Saline (Stop A).
It's worth noting that the closure of the eastern bridge from September 12th to 15th will affect bus lines 91 and 97, but it will not affect bus line 40.
The closures of the eastern and western bridges at the Rennbahnkreuz will impact all three bus lines. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check the HAVAG website or mobile app for real-time updates.
