After a visit to Heide Park, the opinion expressed about the recreational area is unfavorable - 'It's truly disappointing'
Benjamin Cornehl, a seasoned theme park tester, visited Heide Park Resort in Soltau on August 23. Despite the Pyrogames taking place at the park, Benjamin was surprised by the manageable crowds during his visit.
Heide Park, an established attraction in the theme park world, didn't need much discussion according to Benjamin. However, he did criticise the lack of new attractions since his last visit three years prior. The last significant new addition was "Flight of the Demons" in 2014.
Benjamin found several attractions, including "Scream" and some rides, not functioning properly on the day of his visit. He called "Krake" a "filler" roller coaster. Despite these issues, he appreciated the free Peppa Pig Land at Heide Park compared to the Peppa Pig Park next to Legoland.
Benjamin enjoyed attractions like the "Nostalgia Carousel" and "Ghostbusters 5D" at Heide Park. He also praised the unique and family-friendly attractions such as Colossos, Scream, and Bobbahn. However, he found it shocking how often attractions at Heide Park are closed due to malfunctions.
Benjamin arrived at Heide Park early, which may have contributed to the manageable crowds. He reported that all Heide Park employees he interacted with provided excellent service during his visit. Despite his criticisms, Benjamin enjoys visiting Heide Park overall.
In recent years, the management of Heide Park Resort has enhanced the park's attractiveness primarily through continuous investment in new attractions and themed areas. They have introduced innovative roller coasters and themed zones that align with current trends and visitor preferences. However, it seems that these improvements have yet to significantly develop the park since 2014, according to Benjamin Cornehl.
Heavy rain at Heide Park likely deterred some visitors from rides. Benjamin was surprised that despite the Pyrogames, the park was not overly crowded. Despite the challenges faced by the park, Benjamin looks forward to his next visit to Heide Park.
