Agency PHD gains control of Intersnack account from Publicis Media

The Intersnack Group, a leading snack manufacturer based in Düsseldorf, Germany, has announced that PHD will be their new global media agency, effective from January 1, 2026.

PHD is a renowned agency with over 500 employees across locations in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg. Stephan Winter, who serves as the CEO of PHD, based in Düsseldorf, Germany, will lead the agency.

The decision to collaborate with PHD was made through an international tender process, with the agency standing out due to its commercial, strategic, and technical strengths. The specific individual who made the decision in Intersnack's marketing department is not publicly disclosed.

Fabien Duvilla, who has been the Group Commercial Director (CCO) of the Intersnack Group since April 2023, was not involved in the decision-making process regarding the PHD agency. Duvilla, with his experience in local and international marketing and sales from previous roles in the FMCG industry, appreciates the high professionalism and strong performances of all participating agencies.

It's important to note that the Intersnack Group and the PHD agency are separate entities. The PHD agency's role as the global media agency for the Intersnack Group begins on January 1, 2026. Stephan Winter's role at the PHD agency is independent of his role at the Intersnack Group.

Birgit Ebel, the Marketing Director in the Intersnack Group, is not currently mentioned to be involved in the decision-making process regarding the PHD agency. The Intersnack Group conducted an international media pitch over the past few months, and after an intensive selection process, PHD was chosen as the global media agency for the Intersnack Group.
