In a move to address the missing wireless charging feature in Apple's premium over-ear headphones, AirPods Max, Mophie has unveiled the AirPods Max Charging Stand. This sleek charging solution, designed specifically for AirPods Max and AirPods Pro, is now available for purchase.
The AirPods Max Charging Stand is a thoughtful accessory that comes with a USB-C dongle for connection to the AirPods Max. The dongle's magnetic design ensures the correct placement of the headphones over the charging pins, while two silicone inserts on the stand fit snugly around the ear cups of the AirPods Max.
When placed on the stand, the AirPods Max are automatically put into sleep mode, reducing power consumption. This feature is not limited to the stand; the sleep mode also activates when the AirPods Max are placed in their case.
The charging stand features a Qi-enabled charging mat on its bottom, allowing for wireless charging. This means that you can charge your AirPods Max wirelessly, as well as a Qi-enabled regular AirPods with a wireless charging case, simultaneously.
