Allies Form Multiparty Alliance: The Green Group, Socialist Party, and Communist Party Announce their Endorsement of the 'Stop Everything' Campaign Scheduled for September 10th.

The French Communist Party, led by Léon Deffontaines, has announced its support for the "Block Everything" movement, a large-scale mobilization announced for the rentrée (the return of schools after summer break). The movement, which aims to paralyze France on September 10, is also being backed by the Ecologists and the Socialist Party.

Léon Deffontaines did not elaborate on whether the French Communist Party will advocate for a total, general, and unlimited stoppage of the country. Similarly, Pierre Jouvet, the general secretary of the Socialist Party, has not clarified this aspect, only expressing interest in the movement.

The "Block Everything" movement is primarily being organised by French unions and activist groups, who are opposing pension reforms. However, its objectives have expanded to include opposing the Bayrou project as well. Marine Tondelier, head of the Ecologists, has called for support for the mobilization and future movements.

Tondelier has also urged parties not to ruin the movement by organising a competition of the number of flags. She advises parties not to make protesters uncomfortable by giving the impression of marching in the footsteps of a presidential candidate.

At the moment, it is unclear whether any other political parties have expressed support for the expanded objectives of the "Block Everything" movement, including the opposition to the Bayrou project. The spokesperson of the Socialist Party has not confirmed whether the party will call for participation in all mobilizations against the Bayrou project beyond September 10.

The "Block Everything" movement is being promoted through social media, with a growing number of people expressing their support. The French Communist Party has pledged to participate in all mobilizations against the Bayrou project, including September 10.

As the rentrée approaches, the "Block Everything" movement is gaining momentum, with the support of several political parties. The future of France, according to Tondelier, is at stake in these large-scale movements.
