The French Communist Party, led by Léon Deffontaines, has announced its support for the "Block Everything" movement, a large-scale mobilization announced for the rentrée (the return of schools after summer break). The spokesperson of the Socialist Party has not confirmed whether the party will call for participation in all mobilizations against the Bayrou project beyond September 10.
