Alteration in Traffic Flow in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky's City Center

In the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a new traffic scheme has been introduced on Leninska Street, effective from March 14. This decision was made by the Commission on Improvements in the Organization of Traffic in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, with the aim of reducing traffic congestion in key areas of the city.

The new scheme will remain in effect until the completion of underground work on the federal route Morport - Airport. During this period, traffic on Leninska Street towards the Fleet Officers' House will be routed through the parking zone. It is important to note that the completion date for this underground work is not specified in the provided information.

Starting from March 17, vehicles violating parking rules in this area will be towed. As a result, residents are urged to plan their parking spots in advance due to the new parking restrictions. Parking restrictions have been imposed along the administration building of the city district and houses 8 and 10 on Leninska Street.

The adjustments will affect the section of Leninska Street from the Fleet Officers' House (Shechina Square) to the intersection with Soviet Street. The remaining portion of the roadway on Leninska Street will be organized for two-lane traffic from the DOH towards Soviet Street.

The Commission for Ensuring Road Safety in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky did not make any additional adjustments to the traffic patterns beyond the changes announced earlier, affecting the section of Leninska Street from the Fleet Officers' House (Shechina Square) to the intersection with Soviet Street.

The changes are part of a larger effort to alleviate traffic congestion on Petropavlovskoe Shosse, Ocean, Sapun Gora, Red Hill, and Leninska Streets. However, it is worth noting that the new traffic scheme does not affect the previously mentioned traffic congestion reduction efforts on these streets.

New road signs will come into effect on this section of Leninska Street on March 15, ensuring that drivers are aware of the changes and can navigate the city safely.
