Alterations in construction at major intersection: revamping of bus routes 40, 91, and 97
The Halle Transport Authority (HAVAG) has announced significant changes to its tram and bus services due to closures at Rennbahnkreuz and Rennbahnring stations. Here's what you need to know:
During the closures, which will take place each day from 6 PM to 5 AM from September 5th to 8th and September 12th to 15th, the stops Rennbahnring (platform B) and Rennbahnkreuz (platform E) will not be served.
For passengers using the Rennbahnring, a replacement stop will be set up on the paved area opposite the bus loop at house number 36.
Tram line 91 in the direction of Am Steintor will also be affected, with the line not serving Saline (platform A), Ankerstraße (platform A), and Rennbahnkreuz (platform F) during the closure of the eastern bridge from September 12th to 15th. Similarly, tram line 97 in the direction of Ammendorf will not serve Saline (platform A) and Rennbahnkreuz (platform F) during the same period.
The closure of both eastern and western bridges at Rennbahnkreuz on September 5th-8th and September 12th-15th will also impact tram line 97, with the line not serving Ankerstraße (platform A) during these times.
Lines 40, 91, and 97 will be affected during these closures. In addition, bus line 40 will be shortened and will end at Hyazinthenstraße in Andalusierstraße during the closures.
Passengers are advised to check the HAVAG traffic bulletin for all line changes for buses and trams. The person representing the Stadtwerke Halle group as Geschäftsführer (managing director) is Wolf-Thomas Hendrich.
