"Amazon Prime Video's newest venture, a TV adaptation of the renowned game "Life is Strange," is spearheaded by Margot Robbie's production company, boasting an impressive ensemble of creative minds."

The popular video game series, Life is Strange, is set to make its transition to the small screen, with Amazon Prime Video as its new home. The TV series, which does not yet have a release date, is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Square Enix, Story Kitchen, and Margot Robbie's LuckyChap production banner.

At the heart of the series is 18-year-old Max Caulfield, the main character who possesses the unique ability to rewind time. Max's life takes a dramatic turn when she discovers she can manipulate time while saving her childhood best friend, Chloe. Together, they embark on a journey to uncover a dark side to their town, all while investigating the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student.

Charlie Covell, a fan of the Life is Strange video game, is serving as head writer, executive producer, and showrunner for the series. Covell is excited to share Max and Chloe's story, expressing his enthusiasm for the project.

The Life is Strange series first made its debut in 2015, with the first game released as five separate episodes. The series has since been released for the PS3, PS4, and Xbox One. The latest installment, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, was released in 2024.

The success of Prime Video's Fallout and the upcoming live-action Tomb Raider TV show have paved the way for the Life is Strange TV series to find its home on the streamer. The series promises to deliver the same emotional depth and gripping storytelling that made the video game series a hit with fans.

As the Life is Strange TV series unfolds, Max and Chloe will be faced with an impossible life or death choice. The series is set to uncover the secrets of their town and test the bonds of their friendship. With Covell at the helm, fans of the video game series can expect a faithful adaptation that stays true to the source material.
