American tech firm OVES Enterprise expands its operations in the United States, focusing on creating military-grade unmanned aerial vehicles.
OVES Enterprise, a Romanian software development company with expertise in aerospace, defense, and cybersecurity, is making a significant move into the United States market through a strategic partnership with Adler Aerospace.
Founded in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca, OVES Enterprise has been offering software development services for projects in various sectors, including automotive, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, and international government institutions. However, the company's focus has expanded over the years, with last year's introduction of a new business line focused on drone production.
The partnership with Adler Aerospace will see OVES Enterprise developing a dedicated AI Board for onboard processing to enhance the Atlas6's advanced self-protection and autonomous operating capabilities. The Atlas6 drone, with a hybrid propulsion configuration, can operate up to an altitude of 4,000 meters, has an endurance of up to 10 hours, and supports a payload of 45 kilograms.
The Nemesis AI platform, developed by OVES Enterprise, will be integrated into Adler's Atlas6 Shield System, an integrated counter-drone and electronic warfare solution. The integration of Nemesis AI algorithms with the Atlas6's features enables a wide range of missions including surveillance, countering hostile drones, escort and support for deployed units, and access-denial actions in electromagnetically contested zones.
The system will detect and avoid threats such as interceptor drones, missiles, or artillery fire. The Atlas6 Shield System combines radio frequency detection and jamming with precision kinetic interception in both fixed ground and mobile aerial scenarios.
Mihai Filip, CEO of OVES Enterprise, stated that the objective is autonomy, resilience, and operational relevance in real-world scenarios. The partnership between OVES Enterprise and Adler Aerospace will showcase the first capabilities of Nemesis AI at the NATO exercise in Lithuania at the end of August.
Nemesis AI is moving from integration on tactical platforms to a large-scale platform with high operational requirements. The platform can provide critical information from operational altitudes to ground units and can be configured for the transport and autonomous launch of drones in missions to neutralize targets or protect strategic objectives.
OVES Enterprise's current focus includes drone production, in addition to its traditional areas of expertise. The company's Facebook page has a photo associated with it, according to the article's source.
The partnership will result in the development of large military drones based on OVES' artificial intelligence solution, Nemesis AI. This move marks a significant step forward for OVES Enterprise, expanding its reach and influence in the global market.
