Android phones in the mid-range category showcased in a hands-on review: Motorola Edge 60 Neo, Moto G06, and G06 Power, presenting stylish options for budget-conscious consumers.
At Lenovo Innovation World 2025 in Berlin, Motorola has launched three new midrange phones, expanding its portfolio. The new additions to the Motorola family are the Motorola Edge 60 Neo, Moto G06, and Moto G06 Power.
Motorola Edge 60 Neo: Durability and Power
The Motorola Edge 60 Neo stands out with its improved durability, boasting IP69 dust and water-resistance, a significant upgrade from previous models. Under the hood, it's powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. The device also features Moto AI, Gemini, and Circle to Search, as well as AI-focused camera optimizations.
The triple-camera system on the Motorola Edge 60 Neo consists of a 50MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. On the front, there's a 32MP selfie camera. The display covering is now Gorilla Glass 7i, an upgrade from Gorilla Glass 3 on the Edge 50 Neo. The display itself supports an impressive 3,000 nits of peak brightness and HDR10+.
The Motorola Edge 60 Neo is equipped with a larger battery compared to its predecessor, with a capacity of 5,000mAh. It supports 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Moto G06 and Moto G06 Power: Big Displays and Long Battery Life
The Moto G06 and Moto G06 Power offer large displays and long battery life on a budget. The new Moto G06 and Moto G06 Power models have displays that are the biggest ever shipped on a Moto G smartphone, measuring 6.88 inches in size.
The Moto G06 Power comes with a 5,200mAh battery, while the Moto G06 Power has an even larger 7,000mAh capacity. The Moto G06 Power charges at 18W with a cable.
Both Moto G06 models support 600 nits of peak brightness and are paired with stereo Dolby Atmos speakers for audio.
Availability and Market Reach
While the Motorola Edge 60 Neo, Moto G06, and Moto G06 Power are coming to Europe and global markets, it's unclear if they will be available in the North American markets. Official announcements and details about the availability, pricing, and other key specs for these phones are yet to be revealed.
