Antatoly Sulianov revealed the anticipated schedule for the contest against Aslanbek Badaev
The long-awaited grappling bout between Anatoly Sulyanov and Aslanbek Baidaev is set to take place in October or November of this year, according to Sulyanov. The event's organization, however, has faced some challenges, as reported by Kamil Gadzhiev.
The bout was initially announced last year, but negotiations have been in the final stages this summer, with all parties agreeing upon the potential showdown. Previously, Baidaev had named September 15 as the bout date, but the confirmed date now falls in the later months of the year.
The organizer of the event, Anatoly Sulyanov, has been open about the organizational problems that have arisen. Kamil Gadzhiev, another promoter, had also reported issues with the event's organization earlier. The bout timeline, therefore, contradicts earlier information provided by both parties.
Meanwhile, in the world of mixed martial arts, Fabian Edwards clinched the PFL championship with a knockout victory. On a different note, Eddie Hearn has criticized the Jake Paul vs. Jermall Davis bout announcement.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Sulyanov vs. Baidaev grappling bout as we approach the confirmed date in October or November.
