Anticipated 'Halt All' Action on September 10th: SNCF and RATP Project Minimal Disruptions on Their Transportation Systems

In the coming weeks, several unions have announced strikes that may impact various transportation services in the Paris region. Here's a breakdown of the current situation:

The CGT union has announced a strike at RATP on Friday, September 18, 2020. This action, however, does not directly affect the RATP services in the Paris region, such as Metro and bus networks, RER A, and trams under RATP management.

The RER B service, on the other hand, will be disrupted in the Paris Region according to RATP.

In a separate development, the CGT-Cheminots and Sud-Rail unions have called for a strike, which does not directly affect high-speed trains like Inoui, Ouigo, and internationals. These services will run normally on September 10.

Disruptions are also expected on TER and Transilien in some regions and Ile-de-France. These disruptions are separate from the RATP disruptions in the Paris Region.

Union La Base, majority among RER drivers, has called for a strike on September 14. The impact of this strike on RER services is yet to be determined.

SNCF has announced that disruptions are expected on certain intercity lines, such as Paris-Clermont-Ferrand, Paris-Orleans-Limoges-Toulouse, Bordeaux-Marseille, and night trains. However, no earlier mentioned high-speed trains or intercity lines are directly affected in the Paris Region.

It's important to note that night trains disruptions are also not directly related to the RATP disruptions in the Paris Region.

SNCF's expectation of disruptions on certain intercity lines is not specific to the Paris Region.

As the situation evolves, commuters are advised to check the latest updates from RATP and SNCF for the most accurate information regarding service disruptions.
