In a night filled with glitz and glamour, the annual music awards ceremony was a spectacle to behold. The event saw a host of talented artists gracing the stage, with some notable collaborations that left the audience in awe.

Bruno Mars collaborated with both Ariana Grande and Rosé during the ceremony. Ariana Grande, visibly emotional, accepted the evening's most prestigious award, taking a moment to thank her fans, describing them as "fiercely loving and supportive." She also thanked her therapist and mentioned gay people. Rosé, formerly of K-pop group Blackpink, received the Song of the Year award for "APT," a collaboration with Bruno Mars.

Rosé is currently pursuing a solo career, and her win marked a significant milestone in her journey as a solo artist. Another major win of the night went to Lady Gaga, who emerged as the Artist of the Year, beating out industry heavyweights including Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd. Lady Gaga also won Best Collaboration with Bruno Mars for "Die with a Smile."

The ceremony was not without its surprises. Kendrick Lamar, who won five Grammys this year, did not win any awards at this ceremony despite multiple nominations. The political messaging that characterised last year's event was noticeably absent this time around.

The stage was set alight with electrifying performances by the likes of Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Ricky Martin, Doja Cat, and Tate McRae. Doja Cat and Tate McRae incorporated 1980s and 1990s choreography in their performances, adding a nostalgic touch to the modern event.

Sabrina Carpenter won Best Album of the Year for "Short n' Sweet," while Jeannie Seely, with a career spanning decades, took home the most awards at the event. Seely has previously won a Grammy Award in 1967, four CMA Award nominations, and the CMA Joe Talbot Award in 2023.

The ceremony was interrupted when Lady Gaga accepted the Artist of the Year award on stage, her acceptance speech filled with gratitude and humility. It was a night of celebration, collaboration, and recognition of the incredible talent in the music industry.
