Armed Victim of Theft Apprehends Robber

On August 23, 2025, a 22-year-old woman from Hanau narrowly avoided a street robbery at around 9:20 PM on a field path at An der Goldgrube in Mittelbuchen. The incident was reported by PvD RENKER from Offenbach am Main.

According to the report issued by the South East Hesse Police Headquarters, the woman was ambushed by a man who demanded her handbag. However, she refused, and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, the suspect sustained injuries and was treated before being handed over to the police.
