Arrest made by Polish police, case number 250803, involving one individual.
In Brühl, Germany, a 71-year-old woman is currently under investigation by the police following two traffic accidents that occurred on Saturday evening.
The first accident took place at approximately 10:20 PM on the Kerkrader Straße (L 150) while attempting to turn onto the Kölnstraße (L 194). The woman, described as approximately 70 years old, about 165 cm tall, with short gray hair, was driving a golden BMW. She was involved in a collision with a 17-year-old e-scooter rider in Pulheim-Sinnersdorf on August 19th.
Initially, both drivers stopped at the scene of the accident. However, the driver under the influence of alcohol attempted to flee the scene. Despite this attempt, the police successfully apprehended the driver during the ensuing search.
A blood sample was taken from the driver at a police station, and it was later discovered that she was under the influence of alcohol. As a result, her driver's license was confiscated by the police, and her vehicle was impounded.
Sadly, two people sustained minor injuries in the subsequent accident. The accident site was closed for the duration of the investigation.
