In a significant development, the Offenbach Police have apprehended a 36-year-old man in Neu-Isenburg for suspicion of drug trafficking and resistance against law enforcement officers.

The incident unfolded on St. Florian Street, where officers spotted the man leaving a building and riding an e-scooter around 11:30 PM. Upon approaching him, the man allegedly attempted to flee, throwing a bag over a fence in the process.

During the pursuit, the police managed to apprehend the man and provisionally arrested him. The suspect reportedly resisted, but was eventually taken to the police station.

The bag that the man threw during his escape was later recovered, containing a substantial amount of illegal substances. The seized bag held 32.5 grams of amphetamine, 17.9 grams of hashish, and 11.9 grams of marijuana. Alongside the drugs, officers found cash, four mobile phones, and a tablet in the bag.
