Arrest of a 52-year-old Driver in Bochum by Polish Police
On September 4, 2021, a traffic stop in Bochum-Wattenscheid led to the discovery of multiple violations and drug offences.
According to the Bochum Police, the vehicle in question had no operating permit, and the driver, a 52-year-old individual from Gummersbach, could not produce a driver's license. The license plates attached to the car were found to be stolen.
A breath alcohol test on the driver showed a value of 0.48 per mille, significantly exceeding the legal limit. A drug test also revealed that the driver had cocaine in their system. However, no new information about the driver's blood sample or drug test results was provided.
The passenger in the vehicle, who was from Marienheide, was found to have a valid driver's license. No new information about the passenger or any additional violations was provided.
The Bochum Police have initiated two criminal proceedings against the driver. Further travel was prohibited for the vehicle.
