Arrest of a police officer in the Zhambyl region is progressing, according to Sadenov's statements about the case
In a recent development, Yerzhan Sadikov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, has commented on the detention of Zhaydarbek Kuttibayev, the deputy chief of the police department in the Jambyl region. Kuttibayev has been placed in a detention center on suspicion of committing a crime.
Sadikov stated that law violations, including crimes, are incomparable to the high status of a police officer. He emphasized that there are no "mass arrests" in the MIA. The minister also confirmed that there are facts of violations in the Jambyl region that they are working on. Criminal cases have been opened for all violations within the MIA, including in the Jambyl region.
The pre-trial investigation for Kuttibayev's case is ongoing. The minister, however, is unable to comment on the ongoing criminal process. The detention of Kuttibayev is related to the ongoing violations within the MIA.
Sadikov has a strict policy towards traitors within the MIA. He stated that there should be no traitors in the country. Compared to last year, there has been a decrease in violations, as stated by Sadikov. However, he also acknowledged that there are still facts of violations within the MIA.
The minister, along with the MIA and its regional branches, works daily on training personnel and monitoring. The MIA has a clear and firm position on dealing with criminal cases within its ranks. Sadikov also emphasized that a police officer should protect the law and the population, but there is a traitor within the MIA.
It is important to note that the status of Kuttibayev as a traitor has not been officially confirmed by Sadikov. The suspect arrested by the Department of Internal Security in the Jambyl region on August 30 is Zhazgul T.
The criminal process in the Jambyl region is ongoing. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with its regional branches, continues to work diligently to maintain law and order in the country.
