Arrest Warning for Queens Street Gang: 12 individuals face charges for a string of shootings that caused distress in local communities

A year-long feud between the Floss Money Ballers gang and their rivals, the Blitz Gang 4, has resulted in a significant indictment by the Queens District Attorney's office. Operation Buzzkill, announced by Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz, Mayor Eric Adams, and NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, has led to the indictment of 12 alleged members of the Floss Money Ballers gang.

The alleged gang members, ranging in age from 18 to 26, are accused of terrorizing several locations in Queens County, including Springfield Gardens, Laurelton, Queens Village, and the Baisley Park Houses. The operation, which culminated in a police raid on Aug. 28, saw eight of the indicted suspects arrested, while the others were already behind bars for other crimes.

The violence committed by the Floss Money Ballers gang is said to have commenced in September 2024, following the shooting death of 18-year-old Akim Cisse outside of a Springfield Gardens location. Since then, the gang has been linked to ten separate acts of ruthless violence, including attempted murders, reckless shootings, and gun possession charges.

One of the most notable incidents occurred on January 12, when Kevson Hankey, Kevin Petit-Dieu, and Tahnell Williams are accused of luring a rival marijuana dealer and opening fire on him in Springfield Gardens. Another incident on May 10 saw Larry Spencer allegedly opening fire on a man greeting his grandmother for Mother's Day outside the Baisley Park Houses in South Jamaica, striking the victim.

Surveillance video from the May 10 incident shows the victim instantly collapsing to the ground and remaining motionless. In another incident, Floss Money Ballers members are accused of opening fire from a moving car at a gang rival assisting his elderly grandmother in a wheelchair in the Baisley Park Houses on Mother's Day weekend.

Each defendant faces up to 25 years in prison. DA Katz warned that others attempting to fill the vacuum left by a previous gang takedown will also find themselves behind bars. Commissioner Tisch emphasized the need to keep the streets of Queens safe and protect its residents from the violence perpetrated by these gangs.

Despite the prominence gained by the Floss Money Ballers gang, there are no publicly known gang members who gained prominence after a gang robbery in 2023 and are currently in custody. The investigation into the Floss Money Ballers gang is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
