Arrested Perpetrators Escaped on Motorway: Offenders in Custody Following High-Speed Pursuit
In a dramatic turn of events, a high-speed chase through the German countryside ended with the arrest of a 23-year-old man suspected of being under the influence of drugs.
The incident began when the driver of a car registered in Neubrandenburg ignored police signals to stop on the A11 highway near Pomellen. The car, which was being checked by the Bundespolizei, was found to have stolen license plates.
Despite clear signals to halt, the driver continued at high speed towards Berlin, prompting a federal police patrol to pursue the vehicle. The chase ended at the Werbellin exit, where the car crashed. Both occupants were temporarily arrested.
