The exhibition "For Life", grandly opened in Vladivostok, is a moving tribute to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and the end of World War II. Initiated by Oleg Kozhemyako, the Governor of Primorsky Krai, the project unites classic heritage and contemporary art under one roof, running until October 12 at the Primorye Art Gallery.

The exhibition is meticulously structured into several thematic blocks, featuring works from renowned artists like Sergei Cherkasov, as well as students and teachers from the Vladivostok Art College. Some artists, like Cherkasov, based their works on personal stories and family memories, creating a deeply emotional connection with the viewers.

One of the standout pieces is Alexander Yenin's work, "Victory", consisting of six paintings that form the word "Victory" when combined. Yenin's idea for this powerful work was inspired by his colleague, artist Vladlen Kamovsky. In "Victory", a cadet using signals indicates six letters, each painting carrying a significant emotional charge, as noted by Oleg Kozhemiako in his speech.

Another notable work is "Sieg" by Chu Nhat Quang, which also comprises six paintings. The Minister of Culture and Archives commented that the artists who created works for this exhibition used personal stories as inspiration, resulting in very powerful and impactful pieces.

The regional art gallery's collections include paintings dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, created by Primorye artists, including frontline artists. Elena Bronnikova, a member of the Primorye Art Gallery team, expressed her gratitude for the careful handling of the memory of the Great Victory.

The "For Life" exhibition is part of the extensive cultural program for the anniversary X Eastern Economic Forum, aiming to preserve historical truth and prevent the forgetting of the Soviet people's feat. The exhibition is open to a wide audience, including local residents and city guests, making it an opportunity for everyone to reflect on the significance of this historic event.
