Russian Business Leader Proposes Cultural-Trade Centre and Payment System Initiatives at Eastern Economic Forum
Boris Titov, Co-Chair of the Russia-China Friendship, Peace and Development Committee, has proposed the establishment of a cultural-trade centre named the Russian House, during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF)-2025. The event, which is being held from 3-6 September on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, is a significant platform for discussions regarding the growing trade exchange between Russia and China.

He suggested allowing the use of Chinese payment systems AliPay and WeChat Pay in Russia, and the Russian payment systems SPB and MIR in China.
