In the bustling city of Saint Petersburg, the National Light Athletics Competitions and the Russian Cup for relay running among juniors, girls under 18, juniors, and juniors under 20 took place. Over 540 participants from 40 regions of Russia participated in the Russian Cup, with 30 representatives from Krasnodar Krai making their mark.

The athletes from Krasnodar and Tuapse District had a remarkable showing, securing medals in various relay events. They clinched a gold medal in the 4x200m relay, adding two bronze medals to their tally in the Swedish 100x200x400x800m relay. The silver medal in the 4x800m relay further bolstered their impressive performance.

The Kuban athletes also excelled in the Russian Team Championship in multi-events. In total, 3 athletes from the Kuban capital made it to the top three. Alexander Komarov won bronze in the same event, while Andrei Rodikov secured silver in the decathlon. Elizaveta Sлободя́нюk from the Kuban capital also reached the podium, securing second place in the heptathlon.
