ATLONA DISCUSSES 21:9 CONTENT AND EDUCATION AT INFOCOMM 2024 EVENT

At InfoComm 2024, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 8-14, Atlona, a leading provider of AV over IP solutions, is set to demonstrate their commitment to serving the education vertical and enhancing collaboration in various settings.

Garth Lobban, the director of marketing at Atlona, leads the company's efforts at this year's show. Atlona's teams are focused on listening and better serving their customers, with a particular emphasis on higher ed and K-12 institutions.

One of the key highlights from Atlona's booth will be the demonstration of a new model from their CS31 Series of compact matrix switchers. This innovative product is designed to acknowledge incoming emergency messages and mute other systems in the room, ensuring a swift and effective response in critical situations.

In addition, Atlona will showcase their support for remote inputs that better support collaboration. This feature allows for seamless integration of devices across different locations, fostering a more connected and productive learning and meeting environment.

Atlona is also set to demonstrate their support for USB-C signals alongside HDMI signals in the classroom. This versatile approach caters to the evolving needs of modern educational settings, where a variety of devices are commonly used.

The Atlona AT-VKP-8E keypad controller, designed to be intuitive to operate, will also be on display. This advanced device can control up to 10 devices in a room, including switchers, source devices, displays, and audio via IP and RS-232. The keypad controllers from Atlona have evolved from fixed, hard button controllers to advanced, self-contained control systems that eliminate the need for a separate control processor and panel-based system.

The Atlona AT-VKP-8E features an e-paper display, eight buttons, RGB LED indicators, and a 16-LED strip for system audio level representation. This intuitive design ensures that users can easily manage their AV systems, enhancing the overall learning and collaboration experience.

While the 21:9 aspect ratio is expected to be a major topic at InfoComm 2024, Atlona will not be discussing this topic extensively at their booth. However, their Omega Series of collaboration products align well with the opportunities that 21:9 presentation brings to learning and meeting spaces.

Atlona's booth at InfoComm 2024 will be staffed with sales engineers and product managers to discuss design options and identify customer needs. In addition, they will offer an advanced cloud-based setup application, Atlona Cloud, that includes an extensive library of Atlona and third-party device drivers and a wealth of icons for each button.

InfoComm 2024 has become an increasingly end-user focused show, with fewer dealers and integrators attending and more end-users present. This shift aligns with Atlona's focus on serving the education vertical, as more decision makers and C-Level executives from the education and corporate sectors attend the event.

Atlona's participation at InfoComm 2024 underscores their commitment to innovation, collaboration, and serving the needs of their customers. By showcasing their latest products and solutions, Atlona aims to contribute to the advancement of learning and collaboration spaces, making them more efficient, flexible, and user-friendly.
