Authorities apprehend copper vandal suspect
Yesterday afternoon, in Celle, an off-duty police officer made an unexpected discovery on Hamburger Weg. The officer stopped a 33-year-old man carrying zinc pipes and a high-voltage cable.
The man, who has a history of property crimes, was suspected of carrying stolen items. The stolen items, believed to have originated from a barn in Garßen, were identified as the zinc pipes and high-voltage cable the man was carrying.
