Authorities are currently on the hunt for perpetrators in Unna and Schwerte
Dortmund Police carried out extensive search operations in the cities of Unna and Schwerte on Thursday, following a report of a potential threat received on August 28.
The incident, case number 0750, involved a 48-year-old man from Schwerte who made a statement about acting violently against his former partner, shortly after 8 am. The location of the arrest was in Schwerte, not in Dortmund or Unna.
The search operations were conducted in response to the potential threat, with a helicopter deployed to aid in the search. The suspect was arrested at 11:23 am on the Alte Dortmunder Weg in Schwerte.
It is important to note that there was no threat to the public during the incident. Further investigations into the background of the incident are being conducted by the Dortmund police.
