Stolen Merida eSpresso 700 EQ Pedelec in Herford
A 65-year-old resident of Herford, Germany, had their white Merida eSpresso 700 EQ Pedelec stolen between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM on June 6, 2025. The incident occurred at a bank branch on Straße Auf der Freiheit in Herford.
The Pedelec, valued at approximately 2700 Euro, was parked by the owner around 5:00 PM and was missing by the next day. The police were informed and conducted an initial search in the nearby area, but the Pedelec was not found.
The Herford Police Department has taken over the investigation, with the Criminal Police now handling the case. Anyone with information is asked to call 05221 / 888-0 or email [email protected]. Witnesses are encouraged to come forward.
It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred in Ludwigsburg, where several Merida brand Pedelecs were stolen from a garage. The investigation into this theft was also conducted by the police patrol in Ludwigsburg.
