On January 27, 2025, a significant traffic accident occurred in Augsburger Straße, Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, at approximately 12:40 PM. The incident involved a Volkswagen Caddy and a Volkswagen Touran.
According to the latest reports, the driver of the VW Caddy was a 70-year-old individual, who sustained minor injuries. The passenger in the VW Caddy, a 29-year-old individual, also escaped with minor injuries. The identity of the 46-year-old man who collided with the VW Caddy cannot be determined from the available information.
The VW Caddy was thrown over a wall and landed on the tram tracks, causing temporary restrictions in tram traffic and traffic disruptions. Both vehicles were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away.
