Authorities in Poland are actively seeking additional individuals implicated in the ongoing investigation involving a 20-year-old detainee.
A significant commercial fraud case has been successfully concluded in Southern Hesse, according to the State Police Headquarters. The investigation, which spanned several months, involved two suspects, aged 20 and 26, who are accused of simulating a transfer to acquire a motorhome worth 53,000 euros in Messel.
The 20-year-old main suspect was searched in several apartments, including those in Alzenau and Mörfelden-Walldorf, on November 13th. Following a court hearing, the 20-year-old suspect was ordered to appear before a judge at the Aschaffenburg District Court by the Public Prosecutor's Office Cologne. The judge subsequently ordered the execution of custodial detention for the 20-year-old suspect, and he was taken to a detention facility.
The 26-year-old suspect's current whereabouts are unknown, and the investigation is ongoing as the suspects may be responsible for fraud offenses in multiple federal states. The Darmstadt Criminal Police (K21/22) is looking for further possible affected persons with whom the 20-year-old suspect may have appeared under the alias "Petros Vassios".
At least one woman is believed to be involved in the fraudulent activities. The overall investigation into the commercial fraud case is still ongoing, and affected persons are asked to contact the investigators under the telephone number 06151/969-0.
