Authorities in Poland are currently probing an attempted homicide case that occurred in Bad Honnef.
In a shocking turn of events, a stabbing incident occurred in Bad Honnef's Lohmarstraße on August 22, 2025, at approximately 22:25. The Bonn Police and Public Prosecutor's Office have launched an investigation following the suspicion of attempted homicide.
The 23-year-old victim was severely injured in a dispute with a 20-year-old local resident, who attacked him with a knife. The suspect, who has no prior criminal record, fled the scene in his car but was arrested by officers from the Koblenz Police Presidency in the area of Plaidt during immediate search measures.
The injured individual was taken to a clinic for intensive care after initial treatment. The further investigation is being led by a homicide squad of the Bonn Police under the leadership of Chief Inspector Tobias Nieswand.
