Authorities in Stuttgart detain a 22-year-old individual in connection with a stabbing incident.

The Stuttgart Police Headquarters has confirmed that a 22-year-old Romanian national was arrested on Saturday afternoon in the Klett Passage. The man is accused of threatening a 48-year-old man with a knife, allegedly during an attempted robbery.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 2:40 PM. The suspect is said to have initially pushed the 48-year-old man, causing both to fall to the ground. After getting back up, the 22-year-old man is reported to have pulled out a knife and made stabbing motions towards the 48-year-old man. However, no injuries were reported during the incident.

The prosecutor's office in Stuttgart has requested a presentation of the 22-year-old man on Sunday. The judge issued a warrant and remanded the suspect to a detention facility.

It was also reported that the 48-year-old man was initially harassing a group of young women before the alleged incident with the Romanian man.
