On the night of August 27, 2025, an attempted burglary occurred at a goldsmith's shop on Lübeck Street in Bad Schwartau, Lübeck. The police are currently investigating the incident, suspecting it to be a case of attempted aggravated theft.
Three unknown men, described as muscular, taller than 185 cm, and dressed in black clothing with caps and carrying large red bags, were involved in the attempted break-in. The men were noticed by a witness due to loud noises. Upon the arrival of the police, the suspects fled in a presumably dark small car with stolen license plates.
The direction of escape was towards Lübeck via the Eutiner Ring. The incident occurred between 3:00 AM and 3:30 AM.
