Authorities seek insight regarding a break-in incident.

In the past few days, a series of burglaries have taken place in the cities of Recklinghausen and Dorsten. The Recklinghausen Police Headquarters, led by Police Chief (Polizeipräsidentin) Friederike Zurhausen, is investigating these incidents.

On Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning, unknown perpetrators broke into a semi-detached house on Theo-Kleppe-Weg in Recklinghausen, making off with various pieces of jewelry. In Dorsten, burglars forced their way into a school on Bismarckstraße over the Pentecost weekend, initially leaving the teacher's library undisturbed.

The location of the crime in Gladbeck is Am Wiesenbusch, where unknown perpetrators broke into a company over the weekend. The perpetrators in this case gained access by forcing open the access gate and entering the premises. No further changes have been detected in the school building in Dorsten as of now, and nothing was stolen from the school initially.

In another incident at a company in Gladbeck, the burglars forced open a door to a production hall and made off with high-quality tools between Friday afternoon (06.06., 16.30 Uhr) and Tuesday morning (10.06., 5.40 Uhr).

The police are seeking witnesses who observed anything suspicious and/or can provide information about suspects in any of these incidents.
