On August 25, 2025, a distressing incident occurred in Dinslaken. At around 10:35 AM, a 64-year-old woman fell victim to a distraction theft on Karlstraße. The information about this case was transmitted via news aktuell from the Circular Police Authority Wesel.

According to the authorities, the perpetrators were an unknown trio travelling in a beige vehicle. The incident involved a conversation with the victim, during which the suspects put fashion jewelry chains around her neck. Unbeknownst to the woman, one of the perpetrators stole her own gold chain while she was distracted.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a 40-year-old man, 180cm tall, with a robust figure, black beard, and black hair. The front passenger is a woman between 30 and 40 years old, with a robust figure as well, wearing a headscarf. The back passenger is an elderly woman over 60 years old, small and slender, with no headscarf.

Immediately after the theft, the vehicle drove away in the direction of Dinslaken-Lohberg. Anyone with information about the individuals involved in this distraction theft is asked to contact the police station Ost in Dinslaken, Tel.: 02064 / 622-0.
