Authorities seek out witnesses for investigation

The police in Dortmund are investigating a theft that occurred on August 26th in the Ferigestraße. An 86-year-old woman from Lünen had her gold chain snatched, and the authorities are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect.

The incident happened around 4:30 PM at house number 6 in the Ferigestraße. After getting off the tram at the "Brambauer Krankenhaus" stop, the woman was moving with a rollator in the Ferigestraße when the suspect approached from behind and stole her necklace.

The suspect is believed to be a man around 25 years old, approximately 165 cm tall, slim, with dark short hair. He was wearing a colorful T-shirt and dark jeans. After the theft, the suspect fled towards Brechtener Straße.

The police have not yet released a description of the suspect, but they are seeking information from the public. The woman was unharmed during the incident. The police are working to gather as much information as possible to identify and apprehend the suspect.
