Break-ins in Dorsten and Gladbeck: Police Seek Information
The police in Recklinghausen are investigating two break-ins that occurred in Dorsten and Gladbeck over the weekend. The incidents took place on Borkener Street in Dorsten and a vocational college on Halterner Street in Gladbeck.
Early on Saturday morning, unknown perpetrators attempted to break into a business on Borkener Street. Around the same time, two men, one with distinctive blonde hair, were observed tampering with the entrance door of a building on Borkener Street. The men were approximately 1.83 meters tall and fled with a woman who was waiting nearby.
In Gladbeck, a vocational college on Halterner Street was broken into between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. Whether any stolen goods were taken from the college is currently unclear. Additionally, it has been reported that perpetrators forced open a metal grid and entered a heating room, removing all cables and leaving them in a hallway.
