However, their peaceful afternoon took a turn for the worse when, during their absence, unknown perpetrators targeted their car. The theft occurred between 12:45 PM and 13:45 PM, and the perpetrators managed to make off with a handbag, wallet, and cash.
The handbag, containing the wallet and cash, was the primary focus of the theft. The event was reported to the Lahnstein police station, who confirmed multiple thefts were reported in Koblenz-Horchheim on that day.
The police are currently investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The town of Horchheim and its residents hope that the perpetrators will be brought to justice, and peace can once again be restored.
