Distilled on April 5, 2013, and aged for 12 years, the 2025 Birthday Bourbon is set to hit the shelves, with a suggested retail price (SRP) of $200. The sweet mash process, which allows the yeast to express its full character, has been used to highlight sweeter, fruitier flavors and differentiate this edition from the distillery's typical sour mash profile.
The flavor profile of the 2025 Birthday Bourbon is described as delicate and complex. Rich notes of milk and dark chocolate, vanilla, maple, honey, oak, cinnamon, and flamed orange peel are present in the palate, creating a bourbon that is both approachable and intriguing.
Winners of a sweepstakes, running from today through August 21, will have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of the Birthday Bourbon. The process for securing a bottle through the online sweepstakes is presumed to cost the same as the SRP. Purchased bottles must be picked up in person from the Louisville distillery between September 4 and December 20.
