In an exciting opportunity for those seeking a career in the financial sector, Sparkasse Rhein-Haardt is offering a practical training program for professional bank clerks. This training serves as the first step into a career with diverse prospects, providing knowledge of various branches of the company, from stock analysis to online banking.

The training program is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience, with practical training as part of the program. Trainees will gain knowledge of staff and operational areas such as the organizational and payment transactions department. They will also be supported in various departments during their training, including service and advice, real estate financing, asset management, and corporate customer business.

The lessons during the training take place in the form of block lessons, each lasting for units of two to four weeks. The training also includes seminars and exam preparation at the Sparkasse.

To qualify for the training, one needs a qualified school leaving certificate, such as an intermediate school certificate, technical college entrance qualification, or general higher education entrance qualification. Applicants should also possess openness, motivation, ideas, and team spirit.

The training allowance for the first year of training is 1,343.20 EUR according to the collective agreement for trainees in the public service (TVAöD) as of April 2025. This increases to 1,389.02 EUR for the second year and 1,452.59 EUR for the third year.

The vocational school responsible for the training is the Berufsbildende Schule (BBS) in Neustadt/Weinstraße. The training will provide a high level of social competence, as trainees will work with people and modern technology, handling both people-based and internet-based tasks.
